Marietta Facial Plastic Surgery, Laser & Aesthetics Center, Founded In 2011 By Seth A. Yellin, MD, FACS
As Chief of Facial Plastic Surgery at Emory Healthcare from 1999-2011, many of the leading Mohs skin cancer surgeons in Georgia recognized Dr. Yellin’s expertise in providing superior, natural-appearing reconstruction following complex facial skin cancer resections. His reputation quickly spread to Marietta Dermatology, which had been serving greater Atlanta since 1970 as the largest private dermatology practice in the state of Georgia. Dr. Jared Friedman, the Mohs surgeon at Marietta Dermatology’s Skin Cancer Center, began collaborating with Dr. Yellin in 2007.
In 2011, having just built their new flagship building, Marietta Dermatology and Dr. Yellin decided to combine their talents to form the first dermatology-facial plastic surgery joint partnership of its kind in Georgia. It has proven to be a perfect fit. Marietta Dermatology is well-known for providing first-class dermatologic care while Dr. Yellin’s expertise in both facial reconstruction and facial aesthetics, complemented by his team of certified medical aestheticians utilizing the latest technologies, enabled the partnership to expand the services they could offer the greater Atlanta community.
Since beginning their dermatology-facial plastic surgery collaboration at the flagship location in Marietta, the partnership has expanded to a second location in West Cobb with a third location in Canton currently offering dermatologic care along with limited aesthetic services.

Our mission at Marietta Facial Plastic Surgery, Laser & Aesthetics Center is always to elevate our patients’ feelings of self-confidence and well-being by creating a nurturing, honest, and supportive environment where patients can safely share their private concerns about their appearance. We then create a customized treatment plan which will be performed artistically and safely to enable our patients to achieve their aesthetic goals, with natural appearing results that last for years.
A Unique Partnership
Marietta Facial Plastic Surgery, Laser & Aesthetics Center and Marietta Dermatology are a completely integrated partnership offering an array of services including general dermatology, skin cancer surveillance, Mohs skin cancer resection, on-site pathology, and facial plastic surgery reconstruction performed by Dr. Yellin.
On the aesthetics side of the practice, Dr. Yellin and his team provide facial cosmetic surgical procedures to rejuvenate one’s appearance and correct features such as a large nose, a weak chin, heavy eyelids or a sagging face. For non-surgical rejuvenation, Dr. Yellin utilizes the Injecta-Lift technique he pioneered. He and his team also offer minimally invasive and non-invasive facial skin rejuvenation, acne scar improvement, correction of pigmentary skin issues, non-surgical hair restoration and hair removal. Our practice utilizes the latest techniques and technology including multiple lasers, broad band light, ultrasound, PRP and radio-frequency devices, supervised skin care and therapeutic skin treatments. In addition, we offer CoolSculpting, a non-surgical fat reduction and body sculpting technology.
