Dr. Ken Anderson

“Hair transplantation surgery is an art form. It is an important responsibility and great honor that I accept with pride.”

Dr. Kenneth W. Anderson leads the hair restoration practice within Marietta Facial Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Center. Dr. Anderson is one of just a handful of surgeons in the world who have the distinction of practicing hair replacement surgery full-time and being certified both by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

As is evident in his work, Dr. Anderson obtained formal training in the fine arts prior to beginning his medical training. His artistic skills benefit both his patients and the medical community at large; Dr. Anderson has published several scientific illustrations in medical textbooks and journals.

Dr. Anderson received his undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University and his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He underwent seven years of training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Michigan. Dr. Anderson chose to pursue further specialized training. He was awarded a Fellowship accredited by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS.org); one of just 30 surgeons nationwide to receive this honor. For the full course of the Fellowship he worked with an acknowledged master in the field, Dr. Shan Baker, MD, FACS, current president of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

He is double board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABO) and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS).
