Skull Deformity Reconstruction

Skull deformity reconstruction addresses skull deformities acquired either by cancer resection or by trauma. Depending on the extent of the deformity, customized computer-generated implants can be created and surgically implanted. Scalp expanders are used to expand the skin envelope before implant insertion, when needed. This process begins approximately three months before the implant surgery date.
