Time to Celebrate

Please join us to celebrate our 5-year Anniversary in Marietta. After more than 12 years as Chief of Facial Plastic Surgery at Emory Healthcare, I felt it was time to begin a new chapter in my career. After contemplating the many opportunities I had before me, I made a terrific decision to join my colleagues at Marietta Dermatology, a cornerstone of the Marietta medical community since 1970, and start my new practice, Marietta Facial Plastic Surgery, Laser & Aesthetics Center. It has been a perfect fit and has added a myriad of aesthetic and reconstructive services to the practice as a whole, allowing us to better serve our patients.

Since starting my new practice, I have been able to introduce many new technologies that have served to enhance and expand the care we provide. The trend towards minimally invasive and non-invasive techniques to enhance one’s appearance and self-esteem has continued to evolve and improve, and I am proud to say that we have adopted the most effective of these techniques to better serve our patients’ needs. Since starting this practice 5 years ago and assuming the Directorship of the Aesthetics Center, I have created our signature brand of skin care products, Marietta Derm Essentials, and have added many new services to the aesthetics center including the Cutera Excel V vascular laser, Intraceutical oxygen facials, the Environ Micro-Current Alginate facial treatment, AquaClean exfoliation and vitamin treatments, MDPen Microneedling, Ultherapy non-invasive face and neck tightening and CoolSculpting, the most effective non-invasive fat reduction technology available. We now have 3 fabulous medical aestheticians, each with many advanced training certifications, to serve all of your aesthetic needs.

Some of the newest technologies that have proved to be absolutely wonderful include my current favorites—hyaluronic acid facial filler Voluma and ThermiAesthestics radiofrequency minimally invasive face and neck tightening, which have allowed me to achieve previously unheard of skin tightening with minimal discomfort, risk and downtime. I have also introduced techniques to keep our patients comfortable while getting injectable treatments, such as topical vibration and cold rollers. Lastly, the number of procedures that I can now safely and comfortably perform in the office under local anesthesia has expanded to include eyelid surgery, CO2 laser skin resurfacing, mini facelifts, direct neck lifts, ThermiAesthetics face and neck lift and even some nasal surgical procedures. I also perform almost all of my facial reconstructive surgery under local anesthetic in the office. The list seems to grow every year, making the experience of having “something done” less stressful, less invasive, less expensive and easier to recover from. What exciting progress will the next 5 years hold? Stay tuned. Thank you all for your ongoing support and patronage. It means the world to me.
