No surgery – No Downtime- No Anesthesia- No Unwanted Fat

What is the CoolSculpting Procedure?

CoolSculpting non-surgical fat reduction technology gently and effectively targets the fat cells underneath the skin while leaving the skin itself unaffected.

The Science & Technology

Years ago, scientists at Harvard University observed that some children who ate popsicles got dimples in their cheeks. The scientists—Dieter Manstein, MD and R. Rox Anderson, MD—realized that the popsicles were freezing and eliminating small pockets of fat cells.

The idea that cold can target fat cells—without damaging the skin or surrounding tissue—was the insight behind Cryolipolysis®, the proven science on which the CoolSculpting procedure is based.

Fat Reduction vs. Weight Loss

Many people think fat reduction and weight loss are the same thing. They’re not. The CoolSculpting procedure is FDA-cleared to target stubborn fat bulges in specific areas: abdomen, flank/side (“muffin top” or “love handle”), inner thigh, outer thigh, double chin.

Is it right for me?

You and your CoolSculpting physician will determine if you’re a good candidate for non-surgical fat reduction.

Am I a good candidate ?

The CoolSculpting fat-reduction procedure is specially designed for those who have unwanted fat in targeted areas. Unlike weight-loss surgery (e.g., gastric bypass), the CoolSculpting procedure is not a weight-loss solution for people who are obese. Good candidates for the CoolSculpting procedure have noticeable bulges in certain areas they’d like to get rid of. Many people want a non-surgical alternative to liposuction.
