A Neck Ultralift focuses exclusively on the neck and jaw line. It is ideally suited for a patient who wishes contour improvements in these areas and has excess fat in the neck causing a blunted neck-chin angle but does not have significant neck skin laxity. This technique uses a small incision under the chin to introduce fluid into the neck followed by externally applied, high intensity ultrasound energy, which breaks up the fat and generates heat helping the neck skin contract to the new contours. The excess fluid and fat are then suctioned out, the neck muscles are tightened and the incision closed. No skin is removed. Post-operatively, you must wear an elastic support 22 hours a day, removing it only for meals and a shower, for 1 week and then sleep in it only, for 2 more weeks.
