Botox | Dysport

Botox® Cosmetic and Dysport® are both medicines that reduce unwanted lines and wrinkles in specific areas of the face by quieting the underlying muscle activity. In areas such as the forehead, glabella (area between the eyebrows), crows feet ( the area around the outer corner of the eye) and areas around the mouth, the skin and underlying muscle connect so that when the muscle tightens, the skin overlying that specific muscle folds. As skin loses elasticity, frequent folding of the skin will eventually leave a crease in the skin even when the muscle is at rest. To improve the lines in the above-mentioned areas, it is critical that the muscle activity be controlled. Botox® Cosmetic and Dysport® are chemically identical neuromodulator proteins that are manufactured to block the nerve endings release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine so that the muscle can not contract . The beneficial effects of these medicines first appear about 2-3 days after injection, reach their maximum benefit by about day 10 and last on average between 3 and 5 months. To maintain the relaxation of the facial muscles that have been treated, retreatment is required. If the effects of the medication are allowed to go away completely, the muscles will simply return to their normal activity level unless the muscle has been kept asleep continuously for about 2 years or more. In that circumstance, the muscle may have atrophied to the point that some residual weakness may persist even if these medications are not continued. However, muscle atrophy cannot be reliably predicted.

Collagen Stimulators

  • Sculptra Aesthetic is a non-surgical procedure that stimulates collagen production. It is an injectable that will gradually help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and restore a youthful appearance to the face. It typically will take 2-3 treatments and will restore facial volume over time. Results last up to two years and will have you appearing more youthful without looking like you’ve had anything done.
  • Hyperdilute Radiesse is an injectable treatment that will help with skin that is loose and sagging. The calcium hydroxyapatite molecules in the radiesse stimulate the body to produce more collagen. This naturally firms and tightens the area and can be used on various areas of the body including but not limited to the neck and knees.

Injecta-Lift™

The Injecta-Lift™procedure combines my artistic vision and technical skills to create a natural appearing, 3-dimensional, total facial reshaping. We transform our patients’ facial appearance in a stress-free office environment, using a multitude of techniques, including Pro-Nox, which is monitored, self-administered nitrous oxide (laughing gas) anesthesia. In under an hour, I can create a comfortable, almost instantaneous, facial rejuvenation that is long-lasting and safe.

Kybella

KYBELLA™ (deoxycholic acid) is the first and only FDA-approved non-surgical treatment used to reduce moderate to severe excess fat beneath the chin (submental fat) also called a “double chin”, resulting in a visibly improved chin and neck profile.

Many patients experience a meaningful contour improvement of their chin profile after two to four KYBELLA treatment sessions spaced at least one month apart. However, up to six treatments may be necessary to achieve the desired result. Schedule a consultation so that we may design a customized treatment plan to help you improve your chin profile.

Lip Filler

Lip fillers are injections that add volume to your lips. They’re a type of dermal filler. Lip fillers consist of synthetic hyaluronic acid (HA) — HA is a natural substance in your body.

PRP Hair Treatment

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) contains growth factors that have been used to facilitate wound healing. More recently, PRP is being used as a safe and effective treatment option for male and female patterned hair loss. During this treatment, a small amount of the patient’s blood is spun down to extract the platelets. It is then injected into the scalp to promote new hair growth as well as thicken existing hair follicles. Results can be seen within 4 weeks for males and 6 weeks for females. Treatments are once a month for 3-4 months and then twice a year thereafter for maintenance.

PRP Microneedling

AKA the celebrity adored “Vampire Treatment.” This treatment combines the patients own platelet-rich plasma or PRP with the benefits of micro-needling (collagen induction therapy) to improve fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, enlarged pores, and other skin imperfections. PRP stimulates your body’s natural healing process. By combining microneedling and PRP your skin rejuvenation process is boosted and your complexion appears more refreshed.

Tear Trough

Tear trough fillers are a non-surgical, minimally invasive treatment. It involves numbing the tear trough area with a topical anaesthetic and then injecting the area with hyaluronic acid gel, which works to boost collagen production and replace the lost volume brought about through the ageing process.
