An Aesthetic Master

Prior to partnering with Marietta Dermatology & The Skin Cancer Center and starting Marietta Facial Plastic Surgery, Laser & Aesthetics Center in 2011, Dr. Yellin was proud to be the Founder & Director of the Emory Facial Center and Chief of Facial Plastic Surgery at Emory Healthcare for more than 12 years. As an educator, he taught the art and science of facial plastic surgery at Emory University School of Medicine to more than 50 Head & Neck surgical residents and was an aesthetic surgical instructor for the Emory Oculoplastic Surgery Fellowship.

Dr. Yellin feels that teaching has made him an even better surgeon. “Teaching in the classroom, the operating room and on the lecture circuit both nationally and internationally requires you to hone your craft to a very high level,” he says. “It has also required me to scrutinize my work. You can’t hide from the truth when there are so many eyes watching.” Dr. Yellin has earned an impeccable reputation as a sought-after presenter and trainer.

To highlight this point, Dr. Yellin was presented with the key to the city by the mayor of Santo Domingo, in recognition of his contributions and lectures given at the Dominican Republic’s 2008 Annual National Plastic Surgery Conference.
