From the Corner Office
The holiday season is upon us and as 2022 winds down, I am becoming reflective. I must have been a good boy this year because I have already received so many gifts. The first is a wonderful staff that really stepped up and showed me the greatness within each of them, embracing new responsibilities, while we were in a search to replace Elaina. The second is the recent addition of our new Director of Aesthetic Operations and Office Administrator, Edward Matthews. Edward brings nearly 20 years of management experience in the medical and aesthetic space and is already lighting the way toward an even brighter future for our practice. The third is our loyal patients who have chosen our practice for their aesthetic needs and supported us for nearly 12 years!
Choosing to leave Emory Healthcare after more than 12 years as Chief of Facial Plastic Surgery to start a new chapter in my professional life, in a part of town I did not know well, was at first a bit frightening, to be honest. However, looking in the rearview mirror of my life, it was the best decision I could have made. The Marietta community and my partners at Marietta Dermatology Associates have both proven to be warm, welcoming, and supportive. So much so that my wife and I chose to move to Cobb County five years ago to fully immerse ourselves in the community. Another great decision! Along the way our practice has won many awards of excellence, recognizing our skill and service to the community. Most recently by BestSelf Magazine as the Best Aesthetic Practice in Greater Atlanta for Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation. These awards have been most gratifying as they are frequently voted on by the public that we serve.
Lastly, I want to make you aware that we are always striving to improve the services we offer, by investing in the latest technology and continuously training and educating our staff to better serve you. We will continue to offer fun, educational events throughout the year for the public, while providing opportunities to save on both products and services as well as support local charities to help them realize their personal missions.
We are always striving to make our patients look naturally more beautiful and feel more confident. After more than 26 years in practice, I still love my profession and appreciate the trust you show me and my staff to take care of your face, the most visible expression of who you are, as well as all of your aesthetic skincare needs. Thanks to all of you, I always look forward to Mondays.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!!
