February Newsletter 2026

From the Corner Office: February 2026

As we enter a new year, aesthetic medicine continues to evolve in meaningful ways—and one of the most notable shifts I see in my practice is who is seeking facial rejuvenation and why. Many patients today are not chasing dramatic change. They are pursuing confidence, balance, and a refreshed appearance that aligns with how they feel inside at every stage of life.

Not long ago, facial rejuvenation procedures such as facelifts or neck lifts were often reserved for patients in their 50s, 60s and 70s. Today, that timeline has changed. With modern advances—particularly the deep-plane facelift which I discussed in my December newsletter—we are able to achieve exceptionally natural, long-lasting results while preserving a patient’s unique facial identity. Because these approaches work with underlying facial anatomy rather than simply tightening skin, some individuals in their 40s may be appropriate candidates. The goal is not to look “done,” but to look rested, vibrant, and like the best version of yourself.

Another important evolution in facial plastic surgery is our emphasis on preservation and replacement. Aging is not simply about sagging skin; it is equally about volume loss, due to bone and fat loss. Areas such as the cheeks, temples, and around the eyes naturally lose fullness, over time. In the past, surgeons often removed tissue aggressively to compensate for volume loss. Today, we know that preserving fat when appropriate rather than discarding it, and replenishing lost volume with deeply placed hyaluronic acid fillers, creates a smoother, more youthful contour and supports long-term results. Thoughtful volume enhancement allows us to restore harmony to the face without overcorrection.

This philosophy, reshaping rather than just removing, guides everything I do when rejuvenating faces. By respecting natural structures and avoiding excessive tension, we can deliver outcomes that age gracefully with the patient. In fact, these modern techniques often make it possible for patients to maintain their results for years. They also permit secondary procedures years later when indicated and desired, without compromising a natural appearance.

Thank you for trusting us to keep you looking naturally more beautiful!

Why the BBL + MOXI Combination Treatment Is a Game-Changer for Skin Rejuvenation

When it comes to achieving radiant, youthful skin, treating only the surface isn’t always enough. That’s why combining BBL (Broad Band Light) and MOXI has become one of the most effective and popular approaches to comprehensive skin rejuvenation. Together, these advanced technologies work synergistically to improve tone, texture, and overall skin health, both immediately and in the long term.

What Makes BBL + MOXI So Powerful?

BBL is a light-based treatment that targets pigment, redness, sun damage, and vascular concerns. It works beneath the skin to stimulate collagen production while correcting discoloration and uneven tone. Patients often notice brighter, clearer skin after just a few sessions.

MOXI, on the other hand, is a gentle, non-ablative laser designed to refresh the skin’s surface and stimulate cell turnover. It improves texture, minimizes pores, softens fine lines, and enhances overall skin smoothness—making it ideal for early prevention or maintenance of youthful skin.

When combined, BBL and MOXI address both color and texture, creating a more balanced, luminous complexion. This pairing allows providers to customize treatments for a wide range of skin concerns, from sun damage and redness to dullness and early signs of aging.

Benefits of the BBL + MOXI Combo

  • Improves skin tone and texture simultaneously
  • Reduces sun damage, redness, and pigmentation
  • Stimulates collagen for firmer, healthier skin
  • Enhances overall glow and skin clarity
  • Minimal downtime with noticeable results
  • Suitable for maintenance and long-term skin health
