We won!! Thanks to all of your support, our practice was voted Best Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation Practice in greater Atlanta by BestSelf magazine for 2022.
In our practice, non-surgical facial rejuvenation includes injectable facial fillers, most notably my Injecta-Lift procedure. Injecta-Lift was designed to reshape and restructure the face, replacing lost volume and creating a more youthful facial appearance with results that can last for years.
The Injecta-lift procedure is often the foundation for our surgical facial rejuvenation patients as well, since it replaces the volume lost due to atrophy of facial fat and bone while surgery removes sagging skin and tightens both skin and underlying muscles. Keep in mind that a tight yet de-volumized face is not a youthful looking face. Surgery alone is rarely sufficient when the goal is a natural, beautiful, youthful appearance.
Non-surgical rejuvenation also includes the use of neuromodulators such as Botox to relax facial muscles, softening unwanted activity lines such as the 11’s between the eyebrows and relaxing platysma muscle neck bands, improving the neck contour. CO2 laser skin resurfacing, which builds collagen in the skin, is another non-surgical technique that is frequently used to achieve dramatic facial skin tightening and smoothing, wrinkle reduction, and the removal of brown, blotchy skin discoloration with results that often last for 15 years or more. We also use Profound RF to return lost elasticity to the face and neck skin, improving neck and jawline contours and skin texture. Lastly, procedures to improve skin health and appearance such as BBL, Moxi and Cutera V laser treatments, micro-needling to build collagen in the skin, oxygen facials to super-hydrate skin, Aquagold micro-injection and many more techniques that are custom tailored for the patient’s particular aesthetic skincare needs are prescribed to preserve and enhance the results we achieve.
As you can see, today there are a lot of opportunities to look great without having to resort to surgery. However, one of the many great aspects of our practice is that we offer a full array of facial aesthetic services, including guided aesthetic skincare, as well as the use of both non-surgical rejuvenation and the latest surgical techniques to rejuvenate and enhance one’s facial appearance. With the explosive growth of non-surgical options over the past 25+ years I have been in practice, the average age of my face lift and neck lift patients has gotten older, since we can offer so many other options to address early to moderate age-related changes.
Finally, I want to share with all of you that after more than 9 years as the practice’s aesthetic coordinator, Elaina Lester has chosen to pursue other professional opportunities. She will be dearly missed by the entire team but no one will miss her presence more than I. We wish her much success wherever life takes her. When one door closes other doors open and with Elaina’s departure, I realized that we have tremendous untapped talent amongst our ranks. Yes, we will eventually be adding a practice manager to the team, but I am elevating several staff members to expanded roles within the practice. I will be sharing more details in future newsletters.
