Another successful Fall Beauty Event in the books! Thank you to all who came out and showed support for our practice. I hope you had a good time, enjoyed delicious food, learned a few new things about facial aesthetics and took advantage of the many discounts and event specials that were offered. I also want to thank the many product and service vendors who came out on a beautiful Saturday to educate our patients. Last, but never least, beautiful events such as the one we had this past Saturday would not be possible without the planning, organization and hard work of my incredible team both at Marietta Facial Plastic Surgery Laser & Aesthetics Center and our partners at Marietta Dermatology, led by our office manager, Nicky.

For those of you who missed the event, we officially launched the latest dual wave Radio-Frequency device, Sylfirm X, which can reverse age-related skin changes, treat unwanted skin discolorations such as active acne and melasma, mitigate scars and even stimulate hair growth in areas of thinning hair, without true downtime. When combined with topical exosomes, the effects are even more successful and treatment-related facial redness can be reduced to just hours.

Another exciting new category of injectable treatments has come to the United States. SkinVive, an Allergan injectable hyaluronic acid product, was developed for skin hydration, luminosity and generalized skin enhancement. Since being available in Europe several years ago, it has quickly become one of the top aesthetic skin procedures performed by physicians. I am using it to treat both the cheeks and the neck. If your skin has lost its plump youthful appearance, this treatment might be just the answer.

Also, I want to tell you about two new powerful skincare products from Revisions, a company with outstanding chemists and scientifically proven results. The first is C+ Brightening Eye Complex, which is now my personal eye cream of choice. This is the first eye cream to effectively target both lower eyelid hyperpigmentation and vascular congestion, two leading causes of dark circles. The second product, DEJ Boosting Serum, is truly unique. It is the first topical skin treatment that can improve cellular mitochondrial ATP production, providing the cell with more energy. This is particularly important for aging skin as cellular energy production decreases with age. It is also the best topical treatment I am aware of to stimulate both elastin and collagen production. It is a great complement to both of our radiofrequency treatments, Sylfirm X and Profound.

Lastly, I want to thank all of you for your loyalty and support as I was just chosen as the “Best Plastic Surgeon – Face” by My East Cobb magazine. As I often say, plastic surgery is not a competitive sport. However, recognition like this, as well as my recent recognition as the “Best for Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation” by BestSelf magazine, are a testament to the fact that we make a lot of people feel and look their best, and that is the most rewarding of all.
